What the service is

Rceep stores your receipts digitally. You photograph the receipt, we read off the merchant, date, and amount, then work out when open purchase, warranty, and the right to complain expire, based on the merchant's own terms and the statutory baseline.

What the service isn't

Rceep isn't a bookkeeping solution and doesn't replace receipts or records you're required to keep under accounting law. The dates the service calculates are indicative — they're based on whatever information we were able to read or retrieve, and don't constitute legal advice. Always check the actual receipt and, in a real dispute, consult the merchant or legal expertise before acting on a date the service has shown.

Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, and for keeping your login credentials to yourself. Share links you create are accessible to anyone who has the link — only share them with the person you actually want to show the receipt to.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time, directly in the app — see the Security page once you're signed in. We may suspend or terminate an account that misuses the service or breaches these terms.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided as-is. We're not liable for financial or other loss arising from relying on a date or assessment the service has shown without checking it yourself against the receipt or the merchant, to the extent this limitation is permitted under mandatory law.

Changes to these terms

For material changes, we'll notify you well before they take effect.
